Museum Location & Hours

Tour the Houston Railroad Museum, where whistle-blowing takes on a special meaning!

The museum opens for the 2008 season on April 5.

During 2008, the museum will open Saturdays from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.  The last open date in 2007 will be Nov. 3, and this will also be the date of the museum's popular Annual Open House.

The museum is located at 7390 Mesa Road on Houston's northeast side.  Admission is $4 for adults and $2 for children.  Scroll down the page for directions.

To get to the museum from downtown Houston, go east on I-10 to Loop 610 East. Go north on Loop 610 East to the second exit, McCarty Dr. Turn right on McCarty, go about a mile and turn left at the second light, which is Mesa Road.
