Gulf Coast Chapter - NRHS promotes railroad preservation and study through scholarships and other programs.

Scholarships:
Each year, Gulf Coast Chapter NRHS/Houston Railroad Museum offers a scholarship to the National Park Service's Rail Camp at the Steamtown National Historic Site in Scranton, Pennsylvania.  Click here for more information about Rail Camp.  To apply for a Rail Camp scholarship, contact Doug Weiskopf.

Scouting:
Gulf Coast Chapter NRHS/Houston Railroad Museum supports scouting.  Railroading Merit Badge and Eagle Scout projects can be sponsored by the museum.  For more information, contact Chapter Vice President Al Dykes.
